As I mentioned before I am a parent who found a simple cure to acid reflux in my family.

When taking apple cider vinegar for heartburn, yes it increases the stomach acid potency (while you’re standing up) so gravity is on your side again. Therefore your natural acids are stronger, digests food faster and reduces the presence of acid when you sleep (because it has done what it needs to do).
I could not find any medical research on this method but then our grandmothers may not have shared it with the Lancet but that does mean it is any less effective than paid for medication.
For those of you considering some natural remedies for acid reflux here is a quick guide to how you prepare it.
- Add 3 teaspoons of you favourite cider vinegar here is a link for you if you need it [LINK] to a 1/2 cup of water, stir, drink, repeat until reflux has gone. I know of some people who take a glass of this before a meal, many say it helps with digestion and reduces discomfort later.

Baking soda for acid reflux
To clarify this traditional cure for heartburn; The reason this is so effective is it has a very high pH (higher than 7.0) and like antacid pills or purchased medical liquids, it neutralizes stomach acid, baking soda is cheaper and in many cases more effective.
